In accordance with Key to NYC, all guests 5 years old and above are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination along with your photo ID prior to entering The Palm Court, Champagne Bar, and Fitness Center.

Please note there are some modifications to hotel operations, in compliance with New York’s safety ordinance.

– Face Mask
Masks must be worn in all public areas and event spaces of the hotel, unless you are sitting and eating. A Comfort Kit, containing masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer has been placed in all guest rooms and suites. Kits are also available at the Reception Desk.

– Social Distancing
Furniture throughout the public areas of the hotel have been rearranged to facilitate social distancing.

– Hand Sanitizing
Hand Sanitizing Stations have been placed in key common areas throughout the hotel.

– Housekeeping
Your room will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with EPA-registered cleaning products. Housekeeping services are in operation however turndown service is temporarily available by request only. Please inform the Reception Desk of your request.

– In-Room Dining
In-room dining is available daily, 24 hours a day, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Menus are available by QR code, and is also electronically presented on guest room or suite TVs. Please let us know if you prefer that our servers leave your order outside your door, rather than entering your guest room or suite.

Bellmen are located at the Fifth Avenue Porte-cochere and in the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.

For guests staying in suites, The Plaza’s butlers will provide the ultimate standard of luxury and comfort, anticipating your every need.

Each Concierge at The Plaza is a member of the Les Clefs d’Or. To become a member of this prestigious organization, concierges must demonstrate substantial professional experience as well as good character. Les Clefs d’Or concierges have their fingers on the pulses of their cities, are able to advise guests on restaurants, night life, sporting and theater events, sightseeing tours and shopping among other things. They are able to direct guests to any location or product at any time of day or night.

Consequently, the Plaza concierge department is uniquely equipped to assist our guests in accessing the best of New York’s events and attractions, including restaurant reservations, theatre tickets, concert passes and sporting events. Please feel free to contact the Plaza Concierge prior to your arrival so they may offer guidance on your unique array of needs and arrange for any special requests.

Guests have easy access to elevators off the Fifth Avenue Hotel Lobby.

Our fitness center is located within Guerlain Spa on the 4th floor. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Our housekeeping staff provides twice daily room cleaning.

Same-day dry-cleaning and laundry services are available seven days a week. Laundry bags and price list are located in the guest room closet. Overnight shoe shine is also available.

The hotel’s parking facility is off-site. Valet parking is available at a price of $95.00/night with no in-and-out privileges. A $15 surcharge will be applied to any oversized vehicles.

The Plaza accepts dogs of all sizes. A $250 charge will be added to the room charge. Pets cannot be left unattended in the room. All guests checking in with a pet have to sign a release accepting responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. If there is damage caused by the pet, the owner must pay for the complete repair of the damage. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome. Additional details on our Pet Program are located here.

For the comfort and safety of all of our guests, The Plaza remains a strictly non-smoking hotel. Please refrain from smoking in your guest room or any indoor areas of the hotel. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. A fee of $1,500 will be applied to account within seven days of your departure. Additional fees may apply if extensive cleaning is necessary.

The hotel has several accessible rooms with doors wide enough for wheelchair access and grab bars in the bathroom. Two of these rooms have a roll-in shower (no tub). Also available upon request are the following items:
