How much is Afternoon Tea per guest?

Does The Plaza offer High Tea?
The difference between Afternoon Tea and High Tea is that High Tea has a hot savoury course served between the sandwiches and cakes and pastries. The Plaza does not offer High Tea.

Is Champagne included?
Afternoon Tea does not include Champagne, however, you can enjoy a glass for an additional fee. Please see our menu for pricing.

Do I need to choose my menu at the time of booking?
You do not need to choose between our Manhattan Tea and Signature Tea before your experience. We understand that you may change your mind between the time of booking and the date of your experience.

Can I have coffee instead of tea?
Yes, you are welcome to enjoy coffee or our fine range of premium teas and herbal infusions.

Do you offer special Afternoon Tea menus for my dietary restrictions?
We do offer gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian menus. In order to make our chefs aware, we kindly ask you to let us know if you require this at least 72 hours prior to your arrival.

Is your menu Halal?
We have non-Halal items within the menu, however we can make our offering Halal to suit your dietary requirements. In order to do so, we would require at least 72 hours notice.

Do you offer a Children’s Afternoon Tea?
We offer a Children’s Eloise Tea menu for children up to 12 years old. Please see our menu for pricing.

How many guests can be seated at a table?
We can accommodate up to six guests per table. If your party is larger, we would love to arrange separate tables for you and aim to have these as close as possible. However, we are not able to guarantee this prior to your experience.

What is the dress code in The Palm Court?
Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion. Afternoon Tea is a long-celebrated tradition at The Plaza, and we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing shorts, men’s sleeveless shirts, casual hats, ripped denim and athletic wear while dining. Any guest who does not appear sufficiently well-presented may be refused entry.

Do you have a waiting list for cancellations?
We do not have a waiting list for cancellations, however, guests may book and cancel via OpenTable up to three days prior to your experience.

Does the availability shown online match the tables available?
Yes, the availability shown on OpenTable matches our availability within The Palm Court.

Can you arrange something special for our table?
We love welcoming guests for special occasions and encourage you to let us know if you are joining us for a celebration. From birthday cakes to beautiful bouquets crafted by our talented team, we are ready to make your Afternoon Tea experience one to remember. Please let us know at least 72 hours prior to your experience so our team can let you know options and provide costs.
