Designed by renowned architect Jeffrey Beers, Todd English at The Plaza mirrors the aesthetics of the finest food specialty markets throughout the world. The global architecture is reflected in mosaic marble floors, elegant wood paneling, ceramic backdrops and stained-glass windows.

Known for his interpretation of rustic Mediterranean cuisine, Chef Todd English expands his culinary borders to international flavors, creating a true dine-around experience among the nine diverse food stations (Ocean Grill & Oyster Bar, Noodle & Dumpling Bar, Pasta Bar, Sushi Bar, The Grill, Taqueria, Pizza, Cheese & Charcuterie, and Wine Bar). Todd English offers a full menu of cooking demonstration and interactive tasting events as an innovative supplement to your dinner or cocktail reception. Wine and Spirits Tasting and Pairing, Cheese and Pasta Making and Sushi Rolling are just a few of the current offerings available.



Semi Private Receptions available for up to 30 guests.
Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 90 guests seated or 150 standing.
Full Buy-Out can accommodate up to 300 standing.
For the ultimate gourmand experience, a full buy-out of the 32,000 square-foot Plaza Food Hall combined with The Todd English at The Plaza can host up to 1500 guests.

One of the most decorated, respected, and charismatic chefs in the world, Todd English has enjoyed a staggering number of accolades during his career. He has been recognized by several of the food industry’s most prestigious publications, established one of the best-known restaurant brands in the nation, and published four critically acclaimed cookbooks. In the spring of 1991, English caught the culinary world’s eye when the James Beard Foundation named him their National Rising Star Chef. English followed through on that promise, as the James Beard Foundation subsequently named him Best Chef in the Northeast in 1994. Nation’s Restaurant News named English one of their Top 50 Tastemakers in 1999.

Leading the Culinary Team at The Plaza is Executive Chef Sani Hebaj. A native of New York, born in Brooklyn of immigrant parents that also embraced the food of New York. His father was a chef, his sisters both graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, his stepfather is a chef and his brother in law is a pastry chef that also co-owns his own chocolate confectionery.
